Handcrafted in Chico, Printing Press

This is an old Chandler & Price letterpress. I wanted to celebrate the rich tradition in Chico of printmaking and thought this would be a good way to represent the craft. Chico has produced amazing printmakers in all forms of the art, letterpress, monoprints, woodblock, silkscreen, etc. So much incredible work by talented artists has come from and continues to be produced in Chico.
