Fire Hawk is the fifth image in my series of six prints honoring the bravery and teamwork behind every mission flown by the crews of the CAL FIRE HAWK. Their mission is rapid initial attack on wildfires and complex rescue operations. Fire Hawk can swiftly deploy a Helitack Crew for ground firefighting, which it supports with targeted water drops from its 1,000-gallon tank. The helicopter is also capable of night-time firefighting operations, providing crucial 24-hour coverage for the safety and protection of our communities.
