Part of the “Friends of State Street Series,” this is a limited edition, 7 color, hand pulled silkscreen print celebrating the historic, Lobero Theatre. Originally built as an opera house in a refurbished adobe school building by Italian immigrant José Lobero in 1873. Located downtown at the corner of Anacapa and Canon Perdido streets, the Lobero Theatre is world famous for it’s beautiful ceiling and is registered as a California Historical Landmark. Each color is hand printed, one sheet of paper at a time, making each print an original. All prints are printed, signed and numbered by the artist.
